Data Deletion Instructions
We respect your privacy and provide you with full control over your data.
At Blue Ocean AI, you have the right to request deletion of all data associated with your account at any time. We offer multiple methods to ensure this process is simple and transparent.
What Data We Delete
When you request data deletion, the following information is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account profile (name, email)
- Facebook & Instagram access tokens and page connections
- All AI-generated content (posts, images, videos)
- Engagement analytics and performance data
- Scheduling history and campaign data
- All usage logs associated with your account
Deletion Timeline
Upon receiving a valid deletion request:
- Access tokens are revoked immediately.
- Active sessions are terminated within 24 hours.
- All personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
- Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days.
Method 1: Via Facebook Settings
- Go to your Facebook account Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Navigate to Apps and Websites in the left sidebar.
- Find "Blue Ocean AI" in the list of connected apps.
- Click "Remove" to disconnect the app.
- Check the box that says "Delete all data posted by Blue Ocean AI" (if available).
- Confirm the removal.
This will immediately revoke all permissions and trigger our data deletion callback to remove your data from our servers.
Method 2: Data Deletion Callback (Automatic)
When you remove Blue Ocean AI from your Facebook account, Meta automatically sends a data deletion callback to our server. Our system processes this callback and:
- Identifies all data associated with your Facebook User ID
- Initiates the permanent deletion process
- Returns a confirmation URL where you can check the deletion status

Method 3: Contact Support Directly
You can also request permanent data deletion by contacting our support team. Please include your registered email address or Facebook User ID in your request.
